  Manchester City beat Newcastle 2-0 with two goals scored by Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko during extra time.

  Tottenham draw 2-2 with Hull after 120 minutes. Finally, Spurs won the battle with 8-7 penalties shoot out.

  Chelsea hammered Arsenal 2-0 at The Emirates Stadium. Manchester United won 4-0, with Javier Hernández struck twice.

  After beaten Fulham 4-3 in the Fourth Round, Leicester City will be the only English League Championship club who are competing in 2013 Capital One Cup Quarter Finals.

  It was the perfect start for Gustavo Poyet's first home match at the Stadium of Light. The new Sunderland manager grabs his club's first victory in the new season of EPL 2013/14, and lifted from the foot of the EPL table.
  Steven Fletcher put Sunderland ahead in the 5th minute, assisted by Adam Johnson with a cross following a corner. However, after that Fletcher was booked for excessive celebration.
  Newcastle denied Fletcher's effort, when The Toon defender Mathieu Debuchy scored the equalizer at 57th minute. Gustavo Poyet made three effective changes after that, included getting Fabio Borini to replace Adam Johnson at 69th minute.
  It's became an emotional moment when the Black Cats striker Fabio Borini score the late winning goal, through a right footed shot from outside the box. The Italian footballer was on loan from Liverpool.
  After the first victory, Sunderland is now improved to 19th place of the EPL table. The defeated Newcastle was dropped to 11st place after the match.

  Sergio Agüero continue to score for Manchester City in the Blue Battle between Chelsea vs Manchester City. However, this time his goal is not enough to bring a victory to the City. Chelsea managed to win 2-1 with Fernando Torres's late goal at 90th minute. The Spain striker also assisted in Chelsea's first goal.
  At 33rd minute, Torres set up and assisted German teammate Andre Schürrle to score Chelsea's first goal.
  Four minutes after second half was started, Sergio Agüero scored the equalizer for Manchester City, assisted by Samir Nasri. This is Agüero's seventh Premier League goal of the new season.
  It seems likely a draw results, until Willian and Torres stepped in to create the history. Willian made ball forward towards City's net, defender Matija Nastasic headed past City keeper Joe Hart, didn't notice that Torres turning the ball into the centre of the goal and seal the 2-1 victory for Chelsea.

  Mikel Arteta scored a penalty for Arsenal but was sent off and left Gunners with only ten-men. However Arsenal still managed to score the second goal and secure a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, despite having Arteta sent off.
  Crystal Palace, was leaded by caretaker manager Keith Millen after Ian Holloway was sacked during midweek following a home defeat to Fulham. At 46th minute, Palace midfielder Adlène Guédioura conceded a penalty after a foul diving in on Serge Gnabry . Spanish midfielder Arteta converts the penalty became Arsenal's first goal.
  At 65th minute, Mikel Arteta became the focus again, when he was shown a straight red card. After Arteta was tangled with former Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh some 35 yards out, Referee Chris Foy assumed he had prevented a clear goalscoring opportunity and went for the red card.
  Three minutes before second half was ended, Olivier Giroud headed in Arsenal's second goal, assisted by Asron Ramsey. The Gunners remained at top of the EPL table, with two points clear from second placed Chelsea.

  This match was labelled as a Battle Between The Belgians, with Everton striker Romelu Lukaku vs Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke. Obviously, Romelu Lukaku had won the battle of the Belgians at Villa Park.
  Aston Villa almost set to take the lead at beginning of the match. At 7th minute, Everton defender Seamus Coleman brought down Benteke at the ground of penalty area, when the Belgian was bringing the ball into the area. The referee immediately awarded penalty to the host and Benteke take the penalty.
  However, the Belgian failed to capitalise this golden opportunity. Benteke's right footed shot was saved by Toffees keeper Tim Howard, by pushing away the ball with his left hand.
  At 67th minute, Everton defender Leighton Baines won a free kick at the left wing of the field. Leon Osman passed the ball and assisted Romelu Lukaku to score the first goal for the Toffees.
  At 81th minute, England midfielder Leon Osman contributed the second goal for the visitor and secured three points for Toffees.

  Luis Suárez scored a superb hat trick in Liverpool's 4-1 win against West Brom. So far, this is the first hat trick of EPL 2013/14. This is the magician Suárez's fourth hat trick since he playing for Liverpool.
  Suarez gave Liverpool an early lead at 12 minutes, with his brilliant individual effort for the first goal. He scored the a solo strike as he took the ball past midfielder Claudio Yacob and nutmegged West Brom captain Jonas Olsson before he drilled the ball and beat keeper Boaz Myhill with an angled shot.
  Shortly after the superb goal, Liverpool owner John W Henry tweeted ''Luis. Magician.''
  Suarez's second and third goals both came from headers. At 17th minute, the Uruguayan international headed in the ball to the top left corner, following a cross from Aly Cissokho. The in-form forwarder completed his hat trick in the 55th minute, with his header to the top right corner, assisted by Steven Gerrard with a free kick.
  At 65th minute, West Brom was awarded with penalty after assistant referee judged Liverpool midfielder Aly Cissokho have fouled Billy Jones. The Baggies defender was tangled with Cissokho and Lucas as he went down in penalty area. West Brom midfielder Jame Morrison converted the penalty and scored a consolation goal for the visitor.
  At 77th minute, England striker Daniel Sturridge add another brilliant goal through a shot outside the box area, and beat keeper Boaz Myhill.

  Stoke stunned the Old Trafford fans when striker Peter Crouch struck to give the visitor the lead just at 3 minute 13 seconds. Robin Van Persie scored the equalizer for the host at 43rd minute through a left footed shot . Unfortunately, two minutes later, RVP's effort was cancelled out by Stoke midfielder Marko Arnautovic through a superb free kick.
  David Moyes made some impressive changes in the second half. Adnan Januzaj replaced Nani at 58th minute and increase the host's possession. At 68th minutes, Javier Hernández was introduced to the field to replace Tom Cleverley.
  At 78th minute, Wayne Rooney score the late equalizer through a header, assisted by Robin van Persie following a cross. Super substitute Hernández came on to score the winning goal for United two minutes later, and to release David Moyes's pressure.

  Southampon deserved a home win against Fulham, with Rickie Lambert continue to shine. The Saints dominate the match with 20 shots, include 6 shots on goal. Fulham only managed to produce two shots off target through Kieran Richardson and Steve Sidwell.

  José Mourinho has been fined £8,000 following his sending off against Cardiff on last Saturday. The Blues was having a dramatic and controversial 4-1 victory over Cardiff at Stamford Bridge.
  At 70th minutes of the match, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was sent off by referee Anthony Taylor, after protesting about apparent time-wasting.
  The Portuguese was having an disagreement with the referee, when Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic was told to speed up taking a throw-in, having seen Cardiff get away with time-wasting earlier in the game.
  Mourinho was sent to the stands and spent the final 20 minutes sitting among some stunned fans, included fan named Sean Buxton who uploaded a picture of himself and Mourinho in Twitter, and being retweeted more than 20,000 times.
  With reference to the statement o FA's website: "Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been fined £8,000 after he admitted a breach of FA Rule E3 in that his behaviour in or around the 69th minute of his side's game against Cardiff City on 19 October 2013 amounted to improper conduct."
  José Mourinho has accepted the fine and he still can work when Chelsea playing against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge this Sunday. The Blues is one point clear above The City at EPL table after eight Premier League matches.

EPL Teams' Results in Champions League and Europa League
  All EPL teams gain victory in this week European competition, except Arsenal and Swansea.
  The Gunners lose 1-2 to Dortmund at Emirates Stadium, in the recent UEFA Champions League group stage match. In Europa League group stage, Swansea draw 1-1 with Kuban Krasnodar at Liberty Stadium, after the visitor scored a stoppage-time penalty to deny Michu's only goal.
  Chelsea won 3-0 in away match against Schalke. The Blues are now leading in Group E with six points.
  Manchester United beat Real Sociedad through Iñigo Martínez's own goal. Wayne Rooney's shot hit the right post and touched the defender before enter into the net.
  Argentinian forwarder Sergio Aguero struck twice in Russia to help Manchester City win over CSKA Moscow 2-1.
  In another Europa League group stage match, Tottenham beat Sheriff Tiraspol 2-0 in their away game. England forwarder Jermain Defoe scored the second goal of the match. Defoe is now equalled Martin Chivers' club record of 22 European goals for Tottenham.

  Ian Holloway has officially left his position as Crystal Palace manager by mutual consent with the club.
  Holloway has join Crystal Palace since November 2012. During May 2013 Holloway guided Palace to be promoted to EPL 2013/14 after beating Watford 1-0 with a penalty in extra time.
  In the early stages of EPL 2013/14, Crystal Palace only gain three points from the eight matches under Holloway's reign. Palace only won 3-1 against the struggling Sunderland during August 2013, but they have lost other seven league games.
  Two days after the Eagles was defeated 4-1 by Fulham at Selhurst Park, the club announce the departure of their manager.
  Assistant manager Keith Millen will be the temporary caretaker for Eagles before they hire new manager.

  Sunderland new manager Gustavo Poyet was not having a good start, since Swansea hammered The Black Cats 4-0 at Liberty Stadium. All four goals were happended within 23 minutes during second half of Poyet's first match of Sunderland reign.
  The Black Cats' nightmare began with an own goal from defender Phillip Bardsley at 57th minute. An minute later, Swansea midfielder Jonathan De Guzmán striked the second goals, assisted by Wayne Routledge.
  At 63rd minutes, a penalty was conceded by Craig Gardner after a bad foul. Swansea forwarder Wilfried Bony converted the penalty to become the third goal of the match with no doubt. Ten minutes before second half ended, Chico's header reflected by Steven Fletcher and ensure a 4-0 comfort win for the host.
  This is Swansea's first home victory of the season. For Sunderland, they are still the only team whom never win in any single game.

Arsenal Won Double Barclays Monthly Awards of September 2013

  Arsenal’s impressive performance during September 2013 has been recognised with a double award for the club’s manager Arsène Wenger and midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who have received the Barclays Manager of the Month Award and the Barclays Player of the Month Award respectively.

  Gunner’s perfect performance has earned Wenger's thirteen Barclays Manager of the Month Award in his managerial career at Arsenal. Wenger was named manager of Arsenal since year 1996. He has led his side to win every game over the course of the whole September.

  Aaron Ramsey has won the Barclays Player of the Month award for the first time. The 22-year-old Welsh footballer scored four goals in four Premier League matches during September.

  He scored two goals within nine minutes during away match against Sunderland. When playing against Stoke City at The Emirate Stadium, Ramsey scored the early opener for Arsenal at 4 minute 22 seconds. On 28/Sep/13, the in-form midfielder scored the winning goal when playing against Swansea.

  Both Arsène Wenger and Aaron Ramsey played the key role as Arsenal moved up to the top of the Premier League table since 22/Sep/13.

Sunderland Appointed Gustavo Poyet as Head Coach

  Sunderland Association Football Club officially announced the appointment of Gustavo Poyet as their head coach. The 45 year-old Uruguayan has agreed with a two-year contract. The former Brighton & Hove Albion manager will take charge of the Black Cats with immediate effect.

  In 1997, Poyet first arrived in EPL as a player with Chelsea. He won FA Cup 1999/2000, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in year 1998 and UEFA Super Cup in year 1998 as Chelsea a midfielder. He was transferred to Tottenham in year 2001.

  Gustavo Poyet began his coaching career as Assistant Manager at Swindon Town in year 2006. Within the same year, he joined Leeds United as assistant manager. After a year, he returned to Tottenham as First Team Coach, before being named as Assistant Manager to Juande Ramos.

  In year 2009, Poyet was appointed as manager at Brighton and Hove Albion. During his reign, he led the club to promotion to the Championship and reached the play-off semi-finals. Poyet was awarded the title of LMA League One Manager of the Year during season of 2010/11 and Football League Award for Outstanding Managerial Achievement in year 2011.

  Sunderland was the first club who sack their manager in EPL 2013/14. Paolo Di Canio was sacked on 22/Sep/13, so far he winning only three of his matches in charge since he joint Sunderland on 31 March 2013. Kevin Ball was named the Caretaker of the Black Cats, until the the Black Cats announce Gustavo Poyet as Head Coach.

  Sunderland is now located at bottom of EPL table, with only one point after seven Premier League games in EPL 2013/14. So far, the Black cats are the only team who never win in any single game in EPL 2013/14. They only draw one match with Southampton and lose in the other six Premier League matches.

  Chelsea claimed their first away victory in EPL 2013/14, after beaten Norwich, with two late goals from Eden Hazard and Willian within two minutes.
  Southampton beat Swansea 2-0 and climbed up to the fourth place in EPL table.
  Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 3-1, with goals contributed by Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard.
  Manchester City ended Everton's unbeatable record with 3-1 victory at Etihad Stadium.
  Fulham has defeated Stoke City 1-0 in Craven Cottage. It's their second victory of the season.
  Newcastle beat Cardiff City 2-1 with Loic Remy scored the both goals. The France forwarder has scored five Premier League goals for Newcastle.
  Hull have a goalless draw 0-0 with Aston Villa.

  Manchester City ended Everton's unbeatable record with 3-1 victory at Etihad Stadium.

  In this remarkable victory for Manchester City, keeper Joe Hart has played the full 90 minutes, despite his mistakes against Bayern Munich during weekday's Champions League Group Stage match. Everton was playing without the on-loan Gareth Barry against his parent club.
